Vigorous
Very productive But subject to alternation
Good disease resistant..
This fruit is the coronation of the career of the great french breeder and private nurseryman Georges Delbard. Chosen among the crossing of 1200 varieties of apples that he has undertaken; he has celebrated with it its 80th birthday and 50 th of its enterprise.
He said about this apple: " . .. it exhales a delicious floral odor. It liberates an aroma where you will find some touch of banana and hazelnut flowers ".
More modestly, I will specify that as a lot others apple varieties, you can reserve a good place
in your orchard and on your table. Its main defect is to be nevertheless subject to the alternation and it needs a pick out of young fruits.
