Since 1991, I study apples, pears and other fruit varieties of the moderate zones

I observe and study these fruits in my orchard conservatory as well as other orchards
often visited like the one of Charance in GAP.
Member of the famous french association "Les croqueurs de pommes", I present and compare the fruits
at the time of numerous exhibitions of fall feasts to which I participate.
I identify the present fruits with the help of old and rare books recovered in the libraries.
For this guide, I exchange varieties and information with:
- Jean-Louis CHOISEL (foundator of the association "Les croqueurs de pommes" in 1978),
- Jean-Claude SCHAEFFER (artist painter, the biggest collector and connoisseur of pears,
- Philippe MESMIN, nurseryman in Haute-Savoie, that also possesses an important conservatory orchard.
